I got 3000 band 2 in my UCAT and have 2A*'s in bio and maths and an A in chem. I got 998877777 in my GCSE's. Is it worth applying to bristol as my aspirational?

yes, you are 90 points above last year's cutoff. for reference, the cutoff rose by 40 points from 2022 to 2023.

do you think the cutoff would rise more this year for Bristol?

it will probably still rise (if top 2 deciles are higher this year again), but shouldn't rise by more than it did last year i would think, as people with higher ucats may want to apply to slightly safer options

I got SJT band 3, does that put me at a disadvantage pre/post interview?

Hi all, I just did my UCAT today, and got 2910 B1. I am a domestic applicant. With this score, is it worth applying?
I got AAB in my A-levels but I am eligible for a contextual offer at Bristol (ABB), so Bristol is one of the few options I have.

It’s probably pushing it I think. It was the cut off last year. The interim deciles are being published next week. It may help to look at them.
is it worth applying to Bristol with 2980 B1 as a resit applicant?

Is 2940 B1 worth the application?
Hi,
I have gotten 2770 SJT Band 2 in my UCAT score this year. 9999988888 Grades at GCSE and A*A*A*A* (chem, bio, maths & epq) predicted grades.

I am eligible for a contextual offer. My UCAT is very low compared to the cutoff.
Is it worth me to apply? I hope to get a call for an interview based on a contextual offer (not sure if it applies to a low UCAT score though).
On TheUkcatPeople, 2023 lowest UCAT score invited to interview for contextual was 1890.
Is this too risky?
Even if i get an interview is the chance of me getting an offer too low?

are you eligible for a guaranteed interview? https://www.bristol.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/entry-requirements-qualifications/guaranteed-offers/
the 1890 would have been someone with a guaranteed interview - there is no lower ucat threshold for contextual applicants i believe

does anyone know if bristol will look at ucat post interview. Say I perform amazing on the interview despite my ucat of 2400 b2 ( I am guaranteed an interview). I heard lowest offer given was under this before
