Please can you tell me where I can find or how I can work out the 'QCA points per A level subject' for my school. I am trying to work out if contextual points are available. Google is not being helpful!

Anyone know roughly what the deciles were last year? Apparently the ones on the website are much lower than the reality.

Hi,

I got 2630 in UCAT and SJT Band 1. I got 14 A*s in GCSE (im from Wales). My postcode is in POLAR4 Quintile 3. So in total I would get 4.5 + 2.667 + 1.2 = 8.367 points. Would that be competitive for Birmingham 2024 entry?

do you attend a contextual school or are in receipt of free school meals? as you need to be in order to get a score for POLAR4

check your school here, either a gcse attainment 8 score of less than 54.8 or average a level score of less than 34.65, or both, means your school is contextual
edit - nvm all welsh state schools are contextual

yes, but you need to attend a contextual school and/or have FSM to receive POLAR4 points, but for this poster they definitely get the points, as all applicants who attend welsh state schools get the contextual points

your actual sjt band is looked at, given the same weighting as an mmi station

Ohhh ok I see. How many mmi stations are there in total? Also is the MMI online or face to face?
