Can I get into Oxbridge?

I just got my GCSE results a few days ago and I got eight 8's and one 7 and one 6. I don't know if the 6 will affect me in my application in the future. It was in music but I am planning to do Economics in uni. What GCSE grades do typical Oxbridge students have?

Music isn’t a terribly relevant subject to economics, so I doubt it’s a worry.

Given 8’s and 9’s are seen as equivalent (let’s collectively call them A*’s), your GCSE grades are frankly amazing.

Now you just need to focus on your A levels and supercurriculars as these will matter much more to Oxford and Cambridge than your GCSEs.
