i’m i allowed to use the BIC Round Stic M pens for GCSE’s?

my teacher told our class that our papers would be scanned to be marked hence why only black pens are allowed. do u think if the bic round stic pens are okay? it’s not inky though, i would say it’s more of a grey ink rather than a black. what do u all think? if these are not okay, please recommend me some pens to buy!
