Degree Apprenticeships - Computing

I am in Year 13 and looking for places to do a Digital & Technology degree (Computing) apprenticeship. I study Computing, IT and Maths. I am not the best at coding but I do know how to code in C# and a bit of Python.
1) What companies would accept people with predicted grades BBB - BBC?
2) Does anyone who has done or is doing the apprenticeship have anything to recommend to do before the apprenticeship or any general advice ?
3)Do i need to show them any experience I have in coding ie games, websites . If so what kind of projects would interest companies.
4)Should you chose by company or university

I'm in my final year of the d&ts apprenticeship with a software engineering specialism at a large company.

1) the entry requirements in terms of grades are set by the university. Most companies aren't just looking for academic achievement but enthusiasm, potential and other things. You have to check with the apprenticeship provider for the specific entry requirements but as far as I'm aware that should satisfy most (if not all) courses.

2) if you don't know something, find it out. Don't rely on your employer to show you everything.

3) you don't need any experience or knowledge coding. It is naturally an advantage to have side projects and some companies like Google would like to see hackathons and projects.

4) apply to all the companies you can that provide the scheme. Use LinkedIn, indeed, Google jobs and anything else you come across.
