Shoud i take further math?

in y11 rn, got a six in mocks, lower then what i would do now, working at a grade 7ish level at the minute. is taking further maths dumb in my case? everyones saying if im not pulling 8s and 9s now theres no way ill be able to do further math but i need it to take computer science at uni. should i rethink what im doing?

Also, not all Uni's require further maths alevel for computer science - they typically require maths so have a look into entry requirements at the Uni's you want to go to.

I am studying Computer Science here at Lancaster and I did not take Further Maths at alevel (I took Pe, Maths and Computer Science) and nor do I feel like I would've benefited from taking Further Maths.
