To get an interview with Cambridge I’d expect that you need majority of 9s and 8s at GCSE. Only the most prestigious unis will look at overall grade profile for gcses but I know people who are predicted highest grades and have all 9s at gcse that haven’t even got an interview with oxbridge.

Hi there! When applying there aren’t any minimum GCSE grade requirements in order to be accepted. They mainly look at your A-Level predicted grades and final grades as well as how you do in the application and interview process, so I really wouldn’t worry about your GCSE grades, just as long as you meet the requirements for your A-Levels and have a successful application and interview then that’s all that matters really! Hope this helps
