Chemistry Internships/summer jobs

Hi,

I'm a 2nd year chemist/natural sciences student looking to apply for internships/summer jobs related to chemistry. Many of the ones I've found online have more to do with engineering or materials science, which I don't have any experience in and quite frankly I'm not that interested in. The only one I have found that I thought was interesting was an R&D internship for P&G but unfortunately, I didn't get through :frown:

I've contacted labs and chemical companies around me to ask if anyone was willing to take on a chemistry student over the summer but so far no success.

I absolutely adore chemistry specifically organic chemistry and would love to work in a lab to build up some experience. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do from here or does anyone know of any internships that are open/opening soon?
