I thought it was hard as hell, I didn't have time to do the final page, but somehow got gold lol

I got 60.xx%, which was gold, so looks like I just about got gold, which I'm slightly surprised with very little preparation. Anyone else know anything about another preliminary round for selection, for people who got gold?

For anyone who got gold and is doing next round, apparently on the official webpage announcing results are out they said preparation for the exam includes this scientific paper: https://doi.org/10.1002/1873-3468.14590
Idk what this means, but hopefully this helps.

59.83% here which is also gold… very surprising 😂

I used this list of textbooks to prepare for BBO https://biolympiads.com/exploring-the-british-biology-olympiads-a-gateway-to-scientific-excellence/. Got a gold. You definitely need to memorize Campbell Biology

It was tough but Campbell Biology helped a lot. I also used this textbook list biolympiads[.]com/exploring-the-british-biology-olympiads-a-gateway-to-scientific-excellence/, including Brooker's, Raven's and Albert's cell bio. They help with problem-solving.

Campbell Biology is the Bible of Biologists. I've got the 9th edition but I know they released the 12th edition recently. But it's bloody expensive... Nevertheless, in addition to textbook review I got a BBO coach and she helped me a lot. She is a BBO coach and helped me prepare. https://www.superprof.co.uk/british-biology-olympiad-bbo-coach-the-with-over-years-biology-olympiad-experience.html
