casio calculator battery a level exams...

is anyone else worried their calculator might just stop working in their a level test?
my calculator is fine and works normally right now but am I meant to replace its battery or anything (ive had it for about 5 years and it is a solar power calculator CASIO fx-991EX)

Take a spare or replace the battery before your exam - sod's law if you don't

I’m in the same position, my calculator hasn’t had issues for 5/6 years so I doubt it’ll happen in my exams, and it’s more likely that messing with the calculator with new batteries and stuff is more likely to cause an issue than fix any, because my calc has NEVER had an issue.
Although I’m not too stressed bcs I’ll always bring my graph calc with me , so I’ll have a backup!
