Trinity College Dublin Dental Science

Would anyone know if the bachelor of Dental Science course, offered by Trinity College Dublin, is like a bachelor of dental surgery course, that is offered by most universities, or is it different

The 4.5-year "Dental Science" course offered at TCD that leads to a B. Dent. Sci. is a degree that is the same as a BDS or BChD. That's just the name of their dental course, although I understand you wanna be sure that you're enrolled on a course that leads to practising dentistry.
