is anyone applying to
Trinity College Dublin or Semelweiss in Budapest

hi there do u know what entry requirembwnts u need for dublin and if you can student finance there as an english student

Reply 3

For Dublin you need to have achieved 625 points as a minimum which is the equivalent of sitting 4 A levels and achieving At least one with an A* and the rest with A’s
If you only sit three A levels and a give A*s in all three you still don’t meet the minimum requirement of 625 points
It’s geared more for the Irish curriculum.
Best of luck

Trinity is around €3000 a year but, you’ll also have to pay about €1000 in second year for equipment you use in clinics.

I'm applying to CEU San Pablo and UEM (with A Star Future), all the others are full for 2025 entry unfortunately.

The agency sent me a form to fill in with all my info and I had to send a copy of my passport and GCSE and A level Certificates.
After they submitted my info to the uni, they said I’d receive a link from the UEM, which I am waiting to receive, in the next few days for a Spanish test, talent test and interview questionnaire.
I also had to get my a level grades converted to Spanish equivalent which was €30.

Deadlines wise, its first come first served and they give offers to people once a month every month until spaces are full so, the sooner you apply the better - this rule pretty much applies to all Spanish dental schools that teach in English.

Hope this helps xx

Hi thanks for responding. I am still waiting for one more university to get back to me in regards to interview/ rejection. I should be hearing from them in the next couple of months however I’m thinking this might be too late to apply to Spanish schools by then

Dentistry in USA is a postgraduate course, so it would take at least 8 years for you to become a dentist if you choose to study over there. May I ask why are considering studying dentistry over there? Are you planning to come back to uk and work here?

i think if u get in contact with a star future, he could help you. i believe that some universities provide foundation courses into med/dent if that is what you're looking at?

Hi,

I’m applying atm and am kind of worried about the Spanish part of the test, does A Star Future provide prep/ past papers for the test or is that not necessary?

Also how soon after doing the test do you get your results/ offer?

Thank you!

No they don’t, you don’t really need to practice for the test. You can ask for the interview questions in advance to prepare your answers. For the Spanish test, I would say do as much Duolingo as you can.
