Get into Teaching Adviser service

Hello!

I'm Jane, and I trained as a Design and Technology teacher, but later specialised in teaching children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and children with additional learning needs. I've worked in main-stream and alternative education schools, and been pastoral (Head of House, Deputy Head of Year) and curriculum lead. (PSHE/Art and Design)

All of this experience, I now bring to the support I offer, as a Get into Teaching adviser. We help aspiring teachers to consider what a teaching career may 'look'-like and feel-like. We guide you through how to analyze a lesson, let you know about Teaching Internships, explore how you may progress your teaching career and help you to evaluate how to build your skills for the classroom. If you choose to apply for teacher training courses, then we can assist in writing personal statements and preparing for interviews. All of this support, guidance and advice for FREE!
