Edexcel Organic chemistry and paper 3
Organic chemistry was great in year 1; I knew all the mechanisms and the properties and all the functional groups, etc. but now in year 2 I am lost. I can't keep track of the reactions and the mechanisms, and I can't find any examples of where the distillation techniques (e.g. steam distillation) is used and where it is used.
Then there's paper 3. I barely know what this paper entails other than it has the practicals. I don't know how to revise for it and we have a mock on it one week into the spring term. Does anyone have any advice?
