No, I don't think the US got involved for the Afghan people, why would they?
The US got involved at great expense to defend its own people, the current line of trying to get the general population on side only exists because it helps with the long term goals of destroying the Taliban and securing Afghanistan from extremists.
How you are turning that into so kind of conspiracy involving an oil pipeline is beyond me.
Ok then, i'll leave you to your land of sugar plums and fairies.
But please before you go would you listen to the views of these two globally renowned men who are far from conspiracy theorists, and use simple logic to debunk the naive theory that we are doing good out there.

I don't really see your argument, my view is not sugar plums and fairies in any way, shape or form, I simply believe that there are far simpler explanations as to how and why the US got involved in Afghanistan, and how they are conducting themselves there. -

The links you provided don't seem to work.

Well i am sorry but inernational politics are far more comlplicated and sinister than you would like to believe.
Here are the video's again. With proper research it becomes obvious that the western world, especially America bought 9/11 and islamic fundementalism on itself. There are countless history books that support this statement and many important congressmen, philosophers and ex civil servicemen who will also attest. They are 'not' conspiracy theorists. Just because they are telling you something different from what mainstream media is telling you, it does not automatically make them conspiracy theorists, please do not be so naive.
