Yeah, the normal London accent's good too  Cockney is just annoying :sigh:

Deffo the best. It's got to be carried with confidence though ...

The cockney just sounds cheap. Had to grow up with it all around me and it drove me nuts then! :shot:
The Brummie! So much the brummie. So much. Oh and East London. <3

Oh and cockney - omg I love it so much. And a proper lads accent. I fall in love so easily with it...!
London accents that are neither posh nor super strong ftw. :yep: Newcastle accents are awesome too.

I love the Welsh accent appreciation going on in this thread by the way, heh. *feels proud*
The Rah/Toff accent is pretty hot, as are Rah girls in general - annoying though they are.
I'd probably say Geordie had I not grown up where I have
on girls northern ireland !! ftw

Brummie? It's pure filth! :p: (according to the latest random media poll on accents) the UK in general agrees with me. Heck, even two Brummie staff at my school agreed with me :woo:
Scottish/Liverpool, in Britian.
I love ROI accents, not British though.
Scottish.

You're right. It absolutely isn't British unless the speaker is native to a pre-1922 Ireland. And inb4 L i b picking me up on the fact that Éire is part of the British Isles. Okay.

On topic, Welsh.

Irish isn't British :s-smilie:

(Before you all start arguing that Northern Ireland is part of Britain. It's isn't. It's part of the UK but not Britain. United Kingdom of Great Britain AND Northern Ireland. )

Anyhoo, British accents I like:
North West Welsh
Pebroke Welsh
Highland Scots
Orkney
West Country
Yorkshire (well Sheffield really. Think Sean Bean  )
South Shropshire accent (because it's mine :awesome: )
Scottish, Irish or Welsh on a hot guy = good.

None, really - I can't stand most of them. The really upper class Hugh Grant-style RP accent is definitely the best of a bad bunch, though.

Westcountry all the way
