Stats good enough for foundation year medicine?

Hi I am a year 12 looking into applying for foundation year medicine. I know that my GCSES are no where near competitive towards the 5 year course and there would be a slim slim chance of me directly getting in. Are my GCSES okay to apply for foundation year med? I have looked at the requirements external to academic requirements for many different universities and I do meet them.

Yes those would be fine if you also met multiple wp requirements however your gcses would be competitve enough for schools which dont take into account gcse and focus more on UCAT e.g Imperial or UCL

Literally in the same situation as you. I’ve been looking at some med schools and tbh most don’t care about GCSEs that much. Some just require passes or 6 in English/ maths. But every med school is different. Just do your research using their sites and then choose the most suitable ones for you.

Yesss that’s what I’ve done. So far the ones that I meet the requirements for external to academic requirements are around 8 so I need to research each individual university to see which one suits me besttt
