To be honest, those pictures you have posted look a tad photoshopped.

Ramocito is trying to mock your intelligence with terrible images!

Today I went outside into the misty moors of QMUL's graveyard- clutching my camera and the very threads of my life in my bare hands in order to video you the proof that ghosts that lurk at Queen Mary.

I also had a dear friend with me- you may hear his screams of fear in the video.
He did not make it back. :rip:

I'm sorry that the video is so short, but you see I had to run for my life.

All you've done is just post images of your university at night time.
Queen Mary actually has its own

Why does it?

Post more QMUL pics, I tried to google maps them but only found muslim shops.

So I went back to check on that ghost, and you would believe what I saw,

Spoiler

You have way too much time on your hands

You must have missed the video of the ghosts I posted.
It has its own ghosts because the university has a graveyard in it. :top:

RamocitoMorales - maybe onto something. I've been hearing Aberdeen is haunted for years now, mostly its concentrated around the Hillhead Halls of Residences. I've found 2 stories that apparently are saying the same thing. The stories are submitted by people who want to share their supernatural experiences. The stories are posted below and the links to them also. Enjoy and let me know what you guys think!

Haunting in Old Aberdeen, Scotland.
By: [email protected]

I am a student at Aberdeen University, Scotland and had a few strange
episodes at the Hillhead Halls of Residence (student accomodation). The
strangest occurrence was that of my friends and I being 'haunted' by a
7-foot tall 'man' who was wearing a long black coat and a black rimmed
hat with a dip in the middle (cannot remember what it is called!). This
thing would appear to us in that we each could see it for a second and
then it would disappear, even though we could still feel it. It appeared
to me in a local night club...and I hadn't been drinking, so it wasn't
that. It would also appear in my flat and my friends flats and even one
time it appeared when I was in a laboratory class at uni. I ignored it
and to make sure I recognised that it wasd there it moved the blackboard
rubber across the board (where the chalk is kept). No-one else saw it
there. You probably think this is really crazy, but it drove my friends
and I almost mad for 3/4 of a year. If you know of anyone else who has
encountered this...as I have the feeling that this thing hadn't actually
lived but was something quite different, I'd be very pleased to hear
from them.
Another occurrence happened when I was on my way to the shop on campus
and something made me look to my left as I walked along. To the left
where there is a narrow single road and trees/bushes which slopes away
down to a path and the River Don there was also something quite beyond
the usual. I saw between 6 and 8 cloaked and hooded black figures which
looked as if they were 'floating' towards me. I couldn't actually see
their feet but they were moving through the bushes and grass. I quickly
ran to the shop and then totally forgot that I had seen anything. It was
sooo strange. I only remembered when I came back out of the shop and
decided to walk the other way back to the flat. But then I decided to
walk the same way and prove that I didn't have to look in that
direction. The problem was that I just couldn't not look to my right and
when I did they were there again. I've never run so fast!
Anyway, I just thought that I'd let you know what strange things have
happened in Aberdeen and that I'm sure there are more things that have
happened here, but people just don't talk enough about it. Afterall, we
are certainly not mad and there are too many othere people with similar
experiences!!!

Hillhead halls of residence, Old Aberdeen
By: [email protected]

Firstly, i guess i am what you call a "sensitive". I regularly see things,
hear things, and feel things that others don't. I'm usually the first to
point out when sometihng "doesn't feel right" and i have been like this all
my life.
During my first year at university i stayed at hillhead halls and i had the
strangest experiences.
For about the first month of being there, it was fine. One day i was
walking by the kitchen i felt a huge blast of cold and loud whispering,
which really really frightened me. Seeing strange things doesn't usually
bother me because it happens quite regularly, but this really bothered me
because it felt so so bad. I asked my flat mate if she had heard anything
but she said that she hadn't.
Just after the xmas holiday, i came back to worse time of my life. Firstly,
there was a man walking around my flat. He was very tall, wearing all black
- including a black hat or hood and you could not see his face. I saw him
out doors and inside the flat. He frequently had a black dog with him,
which often walked by my bedroom door. My flat mate got really scared of
being alone in her room as she felt that there was someone watching her from
her door. It was about a week after first seeing this man that electrical
appliances in my room started to go wrong. My electrical alarm clock, for
example, would just start to beep - much louder than anything it had ever
done - and did not stop even when i pulled the plug out (it has no battery
backup). My printer would just print out random rubbish, even if it was not
switched on and light bulbs would blow if you looked at them for a long
time. The electrical stuff would only happen in my room. Objects would
disapear from my room, reappearing elswhere in the flat. An example of this
that we lost the bread knife out the kitchen. Bearing in mind that i don't
eat bread much - especially not in my bedroom - we found it on top of my
wardrobe at the back about 3 or 4 months after it got 'lost'.
At night was the worse. Me and my flat mate would drag her mattress through
to my room and sleep there because we were to frightened to sleep in
seperate rooms. I would have the most horrendous nightmares, which i never
got before and have never got since. At night, there would be constant
bangings, tappings and scrapings which sounded like they were coming from
the space between the walls.
I think about the worse thing that I experiencd whilst living there was
getting up one morning and walking to the window at the end of the landing
and looking out at the trees that are above the river Don. On the larger
branches, there were hanged people (as in dead with a rope around their
neck) swinging in the wind. They were not dressed in modern clothing. I
wanted to run away and stop seeing it, but maybe i was too frightened,
because my feet wouldn't move and i found it really difficult to breath.
After this, my flatmate found staying in her room, which overlooked the
river Don, unbearable and moved in to the room next to mine. As soon as
that room was locked everythng was fine, until it came to the end of the
year and she moved out. She moved out about a fortnight earlier than me,
but i was spending most my time in the flat above mine.
After her moving out, I came down from upstairs to find her door open and
light shining through on to the landing carpet. Very bravely (stupidly??) I
went to shut her door and switch the lights off, but just as i got there the
door slammed in my face and locked and i heard the lights switch off. I
phoned my flat mate to make sure she was home, which she was. I then phoned
the people from upstairs and asked them to come down, and when they got down
to my flat, the room was unlocked again but was totally empty and freezing
cold. It was the summer, but you could see your breath was white.
The next day, when i got out the shower i found that the bathroom door was
wide open despite the fact that i had locked the door and there is no way
that the lock could open itself. Also, the bathroom door was very creaky
and i hadn't heard a creak. I went to my room and got dressed as quickly as
possible, but i could not find the key to my room so i could lock up and
leave. i had left the key in the lock on the outside of the door but it was
gone. I found it in the bathroom sink.
Finally, one night I gave my key to one of the people living upstairs to go
and get me a sweater from my flat as i was too frightened to go down. This
person, who WAS a complete sceptic, came back upstairs completly pale,
sweating cold sweat, shaking and totally out of breath. I don't know what
happened because this person will not talk about it and has made us all
promise never to bring it up in conversation.
These all sound like really wierd events, but i don't smoke, drink or do any
kind of drugs, and i didn't then, but I swear they are all true. i don't
want to experience anything like that again as long as i live. Thanks for
letting me share this with you.
I thought I was the only one this happened to!

During my first year (September 2009 - June 2010) at Hector Boece Court in Hillhead Halls in Aberdeen a few strange occurances happened to me as well.

A hooded man wearing a hat with an evil looking face would pace up and down my room in Flat 251A at night, he would sit on my chair and stair at me until I woke up and when I did he stood up looking right in my face. I could not breathe or move but I was awake it was like he was choking me. These would occur regularly and it would scare the living hell out of me!

After this all my electrical equipment in my room broke one by one. As I didn't sleep well anyway and usually slept with the light on because of this my lamp broke and all other lamps after that would break. I would hear scratching in my room and when all my flatmates where at home for Christmas I heard talking in the kitchen and saw the same black hooded guy with a horrible evil grin standing in one of the toilets at the end of the corridor. Not only this my room door (despite being locked) would open itself constantly. I'd also see black shadows outside my door in halls walking up and down the hallway. Coming out of a shower one morning I saw that hooded man in the mirror and with a dog this time.

Speaking of hooded figures in bushes on Don Street I saw them too and they would run the opposite side of the bush to me (again I had never ran so fast in all my life). I also saw hanged people in the bushes in olden clothing which was horrible. Again I knew my room radiator was on but I saw my breath in my room too and the room was freezing.

I also was asked by a guy who looked like he was from the 70s ask me to show him to the River Don at night, scared I pointed him in the right direction and as he walked towards the trees to the River Don he disintegrated into thin air.

Honestly I thought this was just me that experienced this but it was the most horrific and terrifying time of my life. I would never want to experience that again!
London Metropolitan.

It would explain an awful lot.

2. Durham
3. Southampton
4. Cambridge
5. Oxford
6. Exeter
7. York
8. Brunel
9. Royal Holloway
10. Wales, Newport

Damn Russell Group even has the majority of most haunted universities.
It says something when people who are dumb enough to believe in ghosts are allowed to go to university.
Silly thread. Not such thing.
Re, Bishop Elphinstone in Aberdeen, I have witnessed him in ghost form. I was up on the top floor of the chemistry building in the inorganic lab, which overlooks the chapel. I seen a white figure roughly between 9:15am - 9:30 am in front of said monument and seen them walk down the length of the chapel and vanish.

Another time I heard some disembodied ghost chanting, I grew a little worried, (I am shaking as I type). I didn't have a radio one.

A third time, I seen both his (I could make out the Mitre), and Hector Boece's outlines walking past the chemistry building, I ran upstairs, once I got back into the lab, someone said to me, "I looked like I seen a ghost."

I have mediumship abilities (don't laugh!) and a chemist. Nice combination.

Yay my university is first in something!
I can't believe we're actually having a grave' off.
I don't actually know what I saw it was in the park opposite the university something in the bushes a kind of black thing at night it looked like a denser part of the night kind of unraveled is the only way I can describe it it was pretty weird I legged it.
I'll be applying for universities with guidance from this thread. St Andrews is definitely one now!

So a bunch of random pictures annoyingly cluttering up the page proves what now?
