soh cah toa -
all three sides, use cosine rule
cosA= b^2 + c^2 - a^2
2bc

you wont be given a triangle with no side lengths as then lengths could be anything

SOHCAHTOA - use with any right angled triangles
I got 94% ish on the non calulator- what do i need at a minimum to get on the calculator to achieve an a*

I believe a C is normally around 80/200 (40%)

Nah it's a lot less than that, it's like 60 - 65 marks on average

I feel mixed about this exam. I'm going for an A* as was 4 marks off
Last time. However looking at the preliminary mark scheme I think I
got between 86- 92 marks. Depending on how generous they are for
working. I just wonder do you all think this in enough and therefore what
kind of grade boundaries we looking at.

They'll be fine for A* bro, I got 1 off one time but was surprised that I didn't get it comfortably. Oh well, gotta ace it this time!

do you reckon the examiners are going put the grade boundaries low? because some students found the non- calc exam hard

who prefers non-calc paper than calc?
Predicted boundary for an A grade?

I reckon I got around 40 marks on this paper, give or take a few marks.
I got a C in March and am aiming for a B or even an A (although I highly doubt that's possible) so what do you reckon I need to get on Friday to get a B?
Also, what topics shall I focus on more in order to get an A?

You keep your best grade. No matter what, you keep your best grade.

However, It will come up on your record you took a resit but nonetheless, you keep your best grade.

Thank you! I got a B last time so it's all good!
Need to work my ass off for that A* overall
Got around 83-85 in non-calc, so if anyone could predict the grade boundaries or what I need to get in calc would be greatly appreciated.
