Graphic Calculator

How do you use a graphic calculator?

When would you need to use one?

Where can you buy a graphic calculator (UK)?

they work the same as normal calculators ?

if you need to draw a graph you need to

i) set up the axes with appropriate end values and scales

ii) enter the formula for the graph

iii) plot the graph
They're incredibly useful when sketching graphs or checking statistical functions.
I'd recommend a Texas Instruments Calculator. I have the TI-83 Plus, but there are more fancy ones on the market. They can be bought for around £70 on Amazon.

Hope this is of help!

In much the same way as a standard calculator.

You wouldn't.

From shops or online vendors that specialise in parting gullible people from their savings.

They are an expensive waste of money that you will hardly ever use. They are of more benefit if you do further maths but frankly if you are strong enough to take FM then you really won't need one.
I would buy a Casio 991 ES or ES plus.
Some people love them of course, there must be 20 or more recent threads asking the same question in which roughly 2/3 think they are an unnecessary expense and 1/3 think they are the best thing since Nando's

So the burning question becomes:

Nando's or KFC?
