Thanks!

They received my application on the 14th of October so quite early.

I'm sure there are more on the way! Rooting for you guys!

I applied in 19 December…it's quite late compared to yours, so I guess I just have to wait. :hugs:

hey guys. I have also applied for Bath, but havent heard anything yet.. Im starting to get a bit nervous ,/ I visited Bath in october and I absolutely loved it, I hope that offer will come soon ,)) Is it true that how quick you get an offer depends on when you applied? because I saw some of you writing that. well my school send the application only on 13th january.. so maybe there is still hope for me , heh

Hi my application was sent on 9 Jan! Bath has an especially low offer rate (approx. 10 applicants to 1 offer), the department must be having a hard time choosing the deserving offer holders among all the applicants... I guess they only started making decisions after the January deadline to ensure fairness. all we need is just patience so don't worry.

ah, I was checking my email every half an hour yesterday, we even call friday 'the offer/reject day' with friends, hah . but nothing so far..

I also wanted to ask you about York. Ive seen you talking about Durham and Exeter, but nobody has mentioned York.. What do you think about it? It would be my second choice after Bath, because Ive heard it is a great place to study psychology, but now I am a bit concerned .D help..

It turned out to be a week without any offer :frown: York is pretty good too!! Have you received an offer from them? It sounds like you are planning to put it as an insurance. All these unis are, like someone else on TSR told me, top-notch, you should go with your heart and choose somewhere you would love to spend 3 years to do psychology - personally I'm not a fan of York but it may be the kind of place for you.

My application was sent to Bath on October 3rd (early entry because of Cambridge). Beginning to get frustrated with Bath now, the wait is killing me and people who applied after me seem to be the ones getting in.

I have been checking my email every 15 minutes these days...:s-smilie:
Although I haven't applied for York, I once considered about it too. I heard that York is a great place to live, and it has a good reputation for Psychology.
Good luck! :hugs:

The wait is killing me too...:frown:
It is possible that they are giving out offers in completely random order, and I have heard a lot of people who applied in October are still waiting for an offer. So, don't worry! :hugs:

Seems so, considering how much admissions tutors get paid, the wait shouldn't be quite this bad haha
Fingers crossed for you!

I'm still waiting! From what I've seen on here it looks like only people who applied very early have heard - I've not heard of any offers for people who applied in Dec/Jan.

If I get rejected by Bath, I'll be very very upset, since I LOVE it. I like my other choices, but Bath is always my favourite.

I'm trying very hard not to lose hope until I hear about December applicants getting offers. So far I haven't heard of any, therefore I can continue to assume they haven't got that far yet! Typically I'm still waiting on my second choice as well, which makes it even more frustrating!

well I know a few people who applied in january and have already received offers.. thats why Im worried :frown: you know, every time when I see that there is a new email, it feels like a mini heart attack

Me too!
I already feel like the only reason why I have not heard anything is because they prepare to reject me later...
I heard that they will start giving out rejections in early March

I think Kent, as I liked their open day, and they also have a placement year, and have specialist Clinical Psychology modules, which is what I am particularly interested in. I have just had an offer through from them, so it is just Bath I'm waiting on now.

I'm still waiting for Bath - I think us mature students might be different.... I know that I had a second reference request mid jan - so I think there is still hope - my application was sent on 7/10 - I just want the last one so I can make a choice.....
