I'm looking to study Psychology at the University of Surrey.
Does anyone know if they accept a mix of BTECS and A-Levels (E.g. Two Alevels and a btec equivelent to one/two a levels)? As it is not clear on the university entry requirement page. Thanks!

Email their admissions!
If the site says they accept triple btec then they will likely accept a mix of btecs and al but always better to ask.

I'm glad to hear you are considering studying psychology at Surrey!
The university can consider a number of different combinations for entry requirements including A-Levels and BTECs (QCF Level 3) Extended Diploma. If the combination meets the requirements for the course it should be ok. For example, the requirements for 2024 entry are currently stated as ABB at A-Level and DDD with BTECs. If you achieved an A and B at A-Level and a D in a BTEC this meets the requirements.
The Admissions team may take a few days to reply to your email and they will be able to provide more information on the entry requirements for psychology but you can also fill out an admissions enquiry form if you have more questions - https://www.surrey.ac.uk/form/admissions-enquiry-form
I hope this helps and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out

I should also ask, but do you know if the 90 credit BTEC certificate (equivelent to 1.5 a levels) would be accepted at not only surrey, but also at other universities for psychology bsc?
Similarly to Surrey, other universities accept a mix of different qualifications - I should know, I have overseas qualifications!
It is always a good idea to look at the course requirements online, bearing in mind these will be different for each university. If they aren't clear, do contact the admissions teams, as they are there to help us and provide guidance.

hi! i emailed surrey a few weeks ago to ask about entry requirements for Psychology from 2 A Levels and 1 BTEC. They responded:
they said: A-level AB and BTEC National Extended Certificate D, or A-level BB and BTEC National Extended Certificate D*
