Hi, just wondering if it’s possible to get into Leicester uni med school by taking a level psychology, history and biology. I haven’t chosen the subjects yet but I’m just wondering if it’s possible. Thanks
"[Standard entry requirements are:] AAA in three subjects including Chemistry or Biology and one of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths or Psychology, but excluding General Studies, Citizenship Studies, Critical Thinking or Global Perspectives."
It looks like you'll be fine for Leicester, but if you plan on applying to any other med schools, there are quite a few who require chemistry. So it might be worth scoping out which medical schools won't require it and checking that you're happy with what's available there.
Their website states that they require A*AA in three subjects including Chemistry and Biology and one of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths or Psychology.
Most medical schools in the UK do require Chemistry as an A-Level so please do consider that before choosing your A-Levels.
