Hi! I am applying to Bath after just finishing my 1st Year at Southampton Uni for management.

Asked Bath if I would be able to transfer my credits into 2nd but was told that the management school does not accept transfers i.e. I have to start over and am taking a gap year to apply. Many universities in my top choices also don’t accept transfers.

I wanted to gauge the prospects of getting accepted to Bath

As of now:
- Ended 1st year by just about getting a first. A-level results obtaining A*AA with an A* for EPQ
- Member of some societies at Southampton (mostly business/entrepreneurship related)
- Helped run a summer school programme partnered with many Oxford University Colleges

I am also taking a gap year now to gain some experience working at a social enterprise and would like to take up an online course at Oxford Department for Continuing Education (again, related to management and social enterprises).

Hi,

We are so glad to hear that you are thinking of applying to the University of Bath for our Management School which is one of our best courses that we offer. We are currently one of the UK’s leading business schools - we’re ranked 1st in the country for Marketing, 2nd for Accounting and Finance, and 3rd for Business and Management Studies (The Complete University Guide 2024).

Your grades and achievements are something to be extremely proud of and if you would like to gain more knowledge about applying to the course I would first check the requirements for the course on:

https://www.bath.ac.uk/campaigns/undergraduate-courses-in-the-school-of-management/

You can also email [email protected] to gain more insight into the application process!

You can also speak to current management students on UniBuddy, to gain more insight into what other students did for their application https://www.bath.ac.uk/applicant-support/chat-with-our-students/

I hope this is helpful, and let us know if you have any more questions!

Likely to be January, depending on the course you picked. Bath likes to consider all applications before giving out offers.

Does bath send out confirmation emails when they receive your application? I’ve sent off my application a week ago but still haven’t heard back from them at all…

At some point you should receive an email to view Bath's applications tracker (detailed at the bottom of this page: https://www.bath.ac.uk/guides/applying-for-an-undergraduate-course/)

Have you checked your spam/junk folder?

Hi, I was thinking of applying to Pharmacy at Bath, mainly because I love the city and come under the WP to receive ABB. I'm also applying to Medicine, thus they will require a 2nd personal statement. I was wondering how competitive Bath is for Pharmacy. Thanks

Does anyone know how long it would take to get this email? My school submitted my application on Tuesday and I haven't heard anything yet?

Hi! I'm going to apply for the robotics course at Bath and I'm taking the subjects maths, physics and economics. At GCSE I got 777766655 and for A level I'm being predicated A*AB but it may go up in the next week. I unfortunately couldn't make it to the Open Days but I am planning to visit the city and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm very excited but nervous about starting university and I'm going to apply to Leeds, Sheffield and Liverpool (I'm still deciding on the last uni to apply to)

Virtual Open Day (online) on 14 November - book now - https://www.bath.ac.uk/events/undergraduate-virtual-open-day/ - and if you get an offer, you will invited to an Applicant Visit Day in the spring - like a mini Open Day just for that subject.

Do you know if the virtual open day will be recorded because unfortunately, I'll be in school that day so I won't be able to watch it live

What is the waiting time like for chemical engineering. Is it a popular course?
