The questions themselves i don't think were that hard.
It's just the time... some of those questions made you work for the answers.
had 12 min to do last 2 questions....

If they didn't specify to give an exact value-would you still lose marks for giving decimals

Decimals should be fine as long as they're accurate to 3 s.f.

How many answers did people get for tan@=-1/3

I only got two but apparently it was four :frown:

another one makes a rookie error, tut tut.

Everyone makes mistakes, you don't have to be so ignorant to other people about it though dude.
I think you forgot to do 1 over your gradient. It gave you the equation in the form x=... And you had to find dx/dy and then flip it, so 1/24 pi was the gradient. Or at least that's what I got

Mate I totally agree with you, like that paper was p*** easy I could have done that while asleep. Actually I could have done it while doing C4 too, that's how easy it was.....STFU^^ and GTFO

i hope ur not being sarcastic, people don't realise how easy this paper was. Many uni offers will be missed. peak times.

get your extenuating circumstances ready.

its ln(2)/40 please refer back to simple logarithmic core 2 knowledge before you attempt core 3.

Dont give me that, please sort out your arrogance before you attempt c4
dunno bout 100 but:

A* - 66
A - 61
so on..

Arsey is an OG
He uploads maths papers with worked solutions, should be up in a few hours.

He sounds like everything i ever wanted :')

How would i know when arsey is done?
Original post by Drakton15
Pretty sure it's right. ln(0.5)/-40 = ln(2)/40, which is what I got

Yeah, it asked for a and b as an integer so it is ln(2)/-40
I'll go:
74 - 100
67 - 90
60 - 80

now thats impossible! 4 marker involving tan is 2 answers only. tanx=-1/3!

those are 2 solutions

yeah.... ur new here.
right with the last log question, I got up to xln2 = ln(10-0.5x)

I had no idea how to get ln(10-x)/ln2 - 1

wtf?!?!

Therefore, the rage of g? No wonder g(x) was so messy to work out, look at that range of rage.
Original post by Tina.Shaban
It asked for integers so I got ln2/40 I think

Absolutely. That confused me for a bit. I was like, how can 1/2 work if it isn't an integer? :s-smilie:

I predict:
75-100
71-90
66- 80
61- 70

Much easier than previous years. Basically if you make a silly mistake then no 90% for you!

You're crazy, I've been getting 95-100% in every maths exam I've done and this was harder than most bar June 2013
