6sin1xπ=0,x=π6\displaystyle 6 \sin ^{-1} x - \pi = 0 , x = \frac {\pi}{6}

That isn't right; x = ½. Other than that, great help...
R=h is correct

The answer to the rate question was dh/dt= 1/20pi = 0.0159 (I think)

Correct!
for the volume was it soumething like 0.003some number or 0.001 some numebr not sure with the noughts tho; my mate said we had to cnsder to integrals and area of rectngle for one of the ques in section B did anyone else?

r= h sin 45 because they gave you the angle

Previous hard papers like Jan-12 were as low as 55 for an A so I think you might be in luck. (Jan-11 was 54 for an A)

Cast your eye over those papers. If they look harder you prob have an A. If they look easier you're maybe looking at a B.

This paper was easy for those who did every past paper (same questions came up)

Hard for those who just did the book and maybe a few papers.

Around 57 had been for an A on average over the years (by eye not worked it out statistically).

I did every past paper but my dad passed away 6 months ago so I'm struggling with sleep and food etc... I did today's paper on 2 hours sleep for example.
I have a medical school offer for AAA and I utterly need a miracle.
I'm just praying 55 will be an A, I got 18/18 in the coursework but I don't know how much that will drag it up?

For the last question what was the domain and range?

r= h sin 45 because they gave you the angle

Right angle triangle with 45 degree, means other angle had to be 45 degree which gives you an isosceles triangle. Both lengths coming from the right angle are equal which funnily enough happened to be r and h. That is GCSE knowledge

Did everyone remember to add "+ c" at the end of answer in question 2??

YES I DID THIS TIME!!!!!! MADE THIS MISTAKE IN C2 last week so I have learnt!

Omg that section of the graph where you had to find the area, did people do the area of the curve minus the area of the box underneath?

The grade boundaries for c3 are usually pretty close to the percentages, so if you got 18/18 in your cw, 55 should be an a for you :smile:

Sin45 is 1 so it's just a way of proving r=h

I'm guessing 2 marks for the graph, 1 for shape and 1 for correct points

What points did we need for the graph? I only labelled one (-1, ln2)

Usually it's not worth a mark. If you forgot to do it, it doesn't matter

Other way round; rectangle - integral.

This exam was so easy I think my 14 year old sister/wife could have done it

Sister/wife?

Really sorry to hear that.

Happened to me with my Grandad when I was taking AS. Very mind-messing stuff.

Amazing coursework grade by the way.

Taking a random example of 2014 June.

A - 58 (paper)
A - 15 (coursework)

So 73/90 = an A.

With you 55 + 18 =73. So that would be an A last year.
