fp2, s2, d2 all 67 for an A? The hell

Last year C4 was 59 for an A. No way was this year's C4 easier

It wasn't me, I have only ever been involved with the Mechanics papers (though not involved in setting this year's).

FP2 is CRAZY high. I got an A*, but wtf, it wasn't that easy.

Well, if you can thank the people who were involved in the D1, M1 and S1 setting this year, do so! Beautiful boundaries.

I haven't studied any of FP2, S2 or D2 this year, nor do I remember last year's C4 (I haven't been teaching it this year). I stick with my comments 2 posts up: they gave too may helpful hints in this year's C4. The same thing happened in 2010's STEP papers (paper I in particular?).

Exactly. 67 implies that it was a piece of cake, which it certainly wasn't. I got 70/75 which is just one shy from A*. I'm so annoyed. I honestly thought 70 would have definitely been at least 90. Now my A* in FM is looking highly unlikely
My B is literally hanging by a thread now after those boundaries...
Could someone please link me to the grade boundaries, i can't seem to find them, thank you

Came very close to a heart attack when I saw c4 grade boundaries, why do bad grades happen to good people?

My initial feelings on this exam's difficulty have been validated it seems..
RIP to the A that could've been... my hopes are overrrrr

What about 67/75 for FP2?

I'm reasonably happy with c3, c4, d1 boundaries although I did think c4 would maybe be 2 marks lower
Fp2 seems pretty high but it was standard
S2 and d2 seem really high :-( :-(
I am hoping I've scraped an A in further maths But not confident....

I think the C4 mark is fair as it was pretty easy, I just hope I can get well above 90 UMS to compensate for the C3 which wasn't so good.

Core 4 boundary is fairly reasonable. Vectors question was very straightforward and the cone had appeared on last years paper. Also integral of a^x must of caused less trouble than expected. Looks like students performed well in this paper.

Think I got around:
65 in C3
43 in C4 (Mucked this up completely aha)
65 in M1

Wonder how many UMS this might add to!
Basically need at least 220 UMS

These are the exact conversions using the mark converted for this year's exams.
C3 65=90UMS
C4 43=48UMS
M1 65=90 UMS

228 UMS you're safe.
