Why not both?
If you mean English Literature, then either one is good! Go for the one you enjoy! They're both facilitating subjects. However, you don't really have a strong essay subject, so English Lit would be good to fulfil that requirement for uni applications...
If you mean English Language, then do maths (unless you really want to do English Lang). Maths is MUCH more respected by universities than English Language, unless you are hoping to study something related to English Language at uni.

I did mean Eng Lit but I've just visited my college open days and leaning more towards maths because I seemed to become more excited over the maths. Still undecided because now I like the idea of law as well! Thank you
