Yeah, Kanye seems to be kinda like Marmite - some people love him, some people hate him (if you hadn't guessed I'm the latter )

Can't say I've heard that one - I'll give it a listen later

I'm in the middle. Made some great stuff. It really annoys me when people say he's crap because he's a bellend or especially because it's Hip-Hop music. It also annoys me when the Stans say he's the greatest ever or MBDTF is the best thing since whatever.

Nice one. Remember seeing the video for TTW and loved it, bought the album and hammered it summer '04

Monster, All of the Lights, Power, Hell Of A Life
None of them.
Barely any of them have written their own songs anyway.

Beastie Boys

Monster, All of the Lights, Power, Hell Of A Life

Power is arguably the best produced rap song of the decade
Hell of a life is incredible and that electric guitar is the work of God
Ok monster was okay at best but Nicki's verse holy ****>>>>
All of the lights was a really good pop song regardless of how you look at it

That's because they're producers, not writers:smile:
What about Eminem?

Oh, OK. Well I think Elzhi's One Love is the best produced track of the decade.

The guitar I'll give you
Power was crap, it was hardly rap
Nicki Minaj is just unbearable, Jays verse was ok though
All of the lights was more a case of me not being into modern pop tbh, but I will admit that one was good for the genre.

Note that I said "arguably"

On the real though you're objectively wrong if you don't think that My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is the best produced album so far of the decade

Power was rap, that's probably the most lyrical Kanye has been since his LR days.
+those intricate samples are crazy

Tf you talking about nicki being unbearable? She murdered Jay and Ye on monster and that's a universally accepted fact

Am I? I think David Bowie's Blackstar is better.

You're wrong tbh
Not that blackstar was a bad album at all though

I hope you know what I mean when I say "best produced"

Honestly wasn't that good. I could probably write better lyrics for the track

Nicki is unbearable - especially when she starts barking like a seal.

Blackstar is much, much better. Kanye West would probably admit it himself. He certainly acknowledged Bowie as an influence on him when he died.

The title track alone pisses over everything Kanye has ever done. Honestly think it's a top five Bowie record and I'm including all of the 70s output in that.
