I think you have proved that these ships are not stranded at sea.

Since the age of sail the law has provided that crew wages come first; then harbour dues and all of these are charged on the ship and its cargo.

These ships are not trapped at sea. The management simply do not want the ships to pay the debts for which they are liable.
