I take Edexcel Maths at GCSE, and take my exams this summer. It's going to be the first year with levels instead of letters and it's stressing me out so much. The problem is, my levels have always been consistently high (like, 80-90% all through Year 10) but since the start of this year I've been going down. On the PiXL mocks last year I got 167/240 in total (which did amount to a level 9, I will admit, but just barely) but since then I've been getting maybe half of the marks on each mock we take?
I know it's not a reflection of my ability, and I am 99% sure that it's my teacher - me and other pupils have attempted to get a different teacher for higher sets, but to no avail.
I need to get a level 8 in maths this year to get into my college of choice.
Does anyone have any words of advice on how to work effectively by myself/with friends in order to maximise my chances?
