Sadly not much I can do about that, how strange.
Yes I think it is, at least among foreigners... A lot of people around me (I'm German) dont know how prestigious Cambridge is and admittedly that used to be the case for me too. though now I like it more than Oxford and if it offered PPE I would've applied there rather than oxford (where I got rejected haha)

While I concede that Cambridge may have better courses in certain areas, Oxford is still more famous especially to foreigners so have voted to reflect that

In the UK they are even; beyond that, anecdotal evidence suggests it is Oxford.

Internationally, probably Oxford. Because Harvard is in a city called Cambridge in the USA, I feel like some Americans might think people are talking about the US city rather than the UK university when they hear the word. Saw that happen in a Reddit post, people thought it was referring to Cambridge, MA. They're more "used to it". Whereas Oxford has a more distinct name.
