how should i do root 41 + root 29 divde root 41 - root 29
rationalising? in a c1 exam without a calculator

i know its to x top and bottom by root 41 + root 29 but im just a little confused because the number is big

70 + 2 root 1189 over 12

I dont use grid method, but if that works for you to get to the answer then go for it :smile:

Is this your first year doing C1? I'm just wondering because C1 has now been replaced with the new spec.
