there is no tutorial boss on ds2 you can beat the giant guy or armor guy first, there are two paths from majula at the start.

i have no idea about minecraft as i havent played it.

I remember in the Mega Drive days, if you died at the same point, you had to play the whole game all over again just to get back to it, by which point you didn't remember the timing of the boss or jump and just died all over again. :colonhash:


I had a megadrive in my youth and I don't remember ANY games that brutal.

At most, you'd have to restart the level [if you still had lives left]

Shinobi's one. A lot of games you just had 3 lives, might gain 1 or 2, but that's it. The later Mega Drive Sonic games were nice 'cause there were continues, lives were thrown out freely, and had well-known cheats.

NES was even worse because of the ridiculous difficulty on top of all that, back when games still had the 'arcade' mentality of being not so easy that someone could beat it with just a few coins (lives).
