Anyone know what the depth topics are?
I’ve done the breadth so if you want them let me know!

i did chemistry.i advice revising metals and its properties, history of the atom, balancing equations, endo and exothermic reactions, bond energy and moles. Ionic bonding is in there too. i do the higher tier ocr a gcse and overall the exam was pretty easy

Have you done physics or biology and what is your exam board

ive done the 2020 depth paper for biology and the topics that come up are- goblet cells, cell specialisation(neutrophils, erythrocytes, squamous and ciliated epithelial cell), immune response to vaccine, TEM and SEM, ventilation in bony fish and insect. Thats all i can remember. Have you done the 2020 chemistry breadth paper, if so can you tell me the topics?

there was some crazy ass suggest question about alkyls that freaked me out, to do with triple bonds etc. also there were lots of conc and mol calculations, there was a hess’ cycle in section B and that’s all i can remember atm tbh. oh yeah and some synthetic routes

Yeah I did the 2020 depth paper and the topics that came up were rate of reaction,I was so glad when there was nothing on group 7, group 2. Thank God there was no qualitative analysis or testing stuff, that **** too complicated.A lot on dynamic equilibrium (6 marker) Standard enthalpy change of formation too. This was a pretty easy paper, not much on alcohol-either, which I find rlly had, That was a five marker on mole calculations and m/z values. I spent hours revising mechanisms for none of it to come up. Skskksktsks. They were rlly nice this yr ngl. If u need more topic lmk. Don’t do what I did and focus on group 7,2 Quantitative analysis or Polymerisation and alcohol. So annoyed they didn’t come upt because I spend so much time working on that.

Mainly chapter 9 stuff w enthalpy good luck guys
Yeah the OCR paper one was so much more harder than paper 2. What was really weird was they tested you on the same topics in the second paper??Like there was a lot on MZ and standard enthalpy change in paper1 So I didn’t revise it for paper 2, But there was like a six marker on it. Smh, I am so pissed there was nothing on mechanisms and qualitative analysis on the depths paper tho??? The whole class was super surprised by that.

hi, please could you tell me what was in the breadth paper? thank you
Hey, there was a bit on enthalpy of formation, M/Z alkyles, polar bonds, oxidation, concentration. That’s all I can remember but if I remember more I’ll let you know

WHATTTTT omg thanks sm for that info bestie coz i read somewhere else that those were the topics that DID come up so I've been focusing on alcohols, qualitative analysis etc!! i really really appreciate your help i will manifest an A* for you hehe i came out of the first paper on the verge of tears coz i thought all my revision was useless but I'm glad to hear the second one is better at least
