How does the CAST Quadrant Work?

I don't know how to use it
You must realize your question is quite open ended and its almost a case of writing a textbook section to cover all the aspects.
What do you understand from your textbook and what (questions) are you confused about?
As mqb says, bit open ended.

If you want a long explanation then Google it on YouTube, or even have a browse at examsolutions.net as his stuff is good.

What I understand:
You use it to find angles to apply to sin, cos and tan
Some is negative
Some are positive
You use it to work out trig questions

What I want to know:
How do you use it to find sin cos tan of angles
And how do you know which quadrant is negative and which are positive
How do you use it for trig questions

This is for my A-Level Maths Mock Revsion
CAST Quadrants are one of the things on my list revision list (of topics and other things)

Have you tried watching videos on this topic? I think that’s more likely to help you than a written explanation here. If there are parts of the video that you don’t understand then you could ask about them here.
Trig/cast questions can be quite varied. Im assuming you have a textbook / that should contain some skill enabler questions and it would be much better to post specific ones you found difficult.
Similarly the bold should be clearly explained in your textbook. Do you understand which are quadrants 1..4, which ones have the labelling C,A,S,T, how the triangle is defined in each quadrant, how it relates to the sinusoidal curves, ...?
A few web guides

But your textbook is really the place to refer to.

I know which ones have the labelling.
I dunno how the triangle is defined in each quadrant.
and I never learned sinusoudal waves, is it in the 2nd year?
I'm in the 1st year, y12

thanks for the resources!

Not sure if you're on edexcel but if you have the pearson edexcel AS book ( the standard blue one), then chapter 10.1 and exercise 10.a give a good explanation on how it works.
