I hate my Sussex accent now I live in Nottingham. I feel utterly conspicuous. And it was so average down south. Blending in is so much better

only decent british accents are southern ones.
northern accents are disgusting i think! no offense to your northerners! and us midland folk have pretty scummy accents too but say some words in a well cool way like 'book' and 'my' or it might just be me.

I have no idea what the Bulgarian accent sounds like, but it can't be any worse than some English ones. I'm personally from Sussex, so I have the average Southern lilt. I imagine this is what you meant by "hot", but I hate it, it's so indistinct; I could be from anywhere, really.
