I can't believe it. A book that I could have sworn that wasn't present in the library before is now there. :woo: Shame I have a limit of 5 books, however. :s-smilie:

Morning AMF. - I'm assuming you're referring to your university library? Generally, when I couldn't find a book I wanted, there was usually the option to request it. When I was an undergraduate, five was my limit too, although that increased to twelve when I was undergoing my postgraduate.

Morning. It is a university library but I'm not an undergraduate at university, I bought public membership which is £88 a year. Probably the best money I've ever spent given how much the textbooks I've taken out costs. (I'd easily estimate £200.) If I were an undergraduate, I'd be able to take out 20 books. :coma: 50 if I were staff!

I do plan on buying quite a bit of these books one day, though, they are references for life. :p:

I went to Central Saint Martins and later the Royal College of Art, both of which are specialist and probably have a much smaller library than the one you go to (Manchester, I'm guessing?). It was annoying that I wasn't allowed to take more than five out, which meant that I had to photocopy a lot, which costed money. - If I could take 20 out at a time, that would have saved a lot of hassle.

So, you're not currently a student. I assumed you were, likely studying Maths at that.

Yep. I'd be in there almost all of the time if the journey wasn't a pain in the arse. :s-smilie: I don't know how to use the photocopier there and I'm too proud to ask a librarian. :o: I'd normally have a fiddle with it to figure it out, but I don't want to break anything.

Well, yes, the 'NEET' in my profile is the give away. :p: I left high school at 15, so my education is very disrupted--any maths I do is entirely self-taught and my own interest. I'll be a student of maths eventually and this comic I live by:

Currently waiting for my mother to get back so I can go and get the book, I'm not sure she has a key to let herself in.

I hadn't looked at your profile (I tend to forget that they exist). It's great that you haven't allowed your time away from formal education to hinder your own learning.

As for the comic, for a second, I was reading it the wrong way. :o: :p:
