im in a good mood. not sure why though

good day?
Well a good mood is a good mood!

Meh. It involved a lot of maths, and I haven't had core maths in two weeks and so couldn't do ANYTHING. Or remember ANYTHING.
That was fun.

But I got my english essay back and my critical thinking Jan exam mark back, and they were both good, so that made it a good day.
You?

Would you be able to explain binomial distrubition to me?

I don't understand where anything comes from..our teacher just gives us a load of formulas/things from tables ( ) and I don't understand any of it!
unfortunately i havent done binomial distribution. perhaps post a thread in the maths forum, and someone helpful and clever will come along and explain it

no worries, thanks anyway

i'm going to go to my core maths teacher tomorrow, he's amazing, so i'm sure he'll explain it

my stats teacher just says 'no point understanding it, just learn the formulas'

i'm like and i tell her i want to actually understand it and she has a go at me

she's a *****. if i were a teacher, i'd much prefer a student who wants to understand what's going on than a student who would just learn the formulae.

if you're curious, the problems were:

a) Q9 of STEP I, 2000 (i've posted my solution in the STEP 2000 thread in the maths forum).
b) 'Show that there exist arbitrarily long lists of consecutive positive integers which are non-prime.'

FRITZL'S CRIMES
Murder by neglect
Enslavement
Deprivation of liberty
Rape
Incest
Coercion

Absolutly disgusting man.
I still don't understand why/how he did all this. He wasn't even mentally ill.
