Nato seem to be the only thing stopping Russia and Iran attacking Israel.

Iran's hostile behaviour towards the west is also the thing that makes USA give Israel so much support.

Hardly.... even still, it can be argued that Israel is more of a hindrance compared to other 'allies'.

No doubt, that's why the US is very friendly with Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, saudi, Oman and Kuwait.

The countries you mentioned are whimps. They go where the power is. Considering the current political climate the power in the mid east may well change. (Especially since Russia is getting involved)

Iran wishes current Israel to be given back to the Palastinians. (Not debatable in this thread).

And if you saw Obamas speech, where he asked Iran to come forward and work with the USA. You wouldn't say that.

Terrorism has nothing to do with this, both Iran and the USA have been subject to violence from Taliban + Saddam.

Isreal + USA vs Palastine + Syria thing.

But Russia does have borderline contact with Iran and could quite easily transfer goods through that.

I think either Israel or Russia where trying to create propoganda.

Israel has never had lack of boll**ks... The 1981 bombing in Iraq would be the perfect example. And I wouldn't be surprised if they are currently considering doing the same to Iran.

I thank them for the Iraqi sortie, as many countries were in 1981 (under the table, of course), and I would be thankful again if they did it to Iran.
