How's your revision going and do you know which questions you'll be hoping come up?

errrmmm im doing the exam with ambitions to retake.. coz i have sociology in the afternoon and the topics in that are easier so im plannin to do well in sociology and **** in pol..
i think this topic is the hardest one so far in politics.. what tx books are you using to revise with? x

feel the same to be honest had 4 exams before this just done C3 yesterday and im tired of revision dnt wanna retake like American politics but so not sure wats gnna come hpefully
a question on third parties, electoral college, 2008 presidential election, party unity within Democrats and Republicans, protection of the rights of enthnic minorities, imapct of affirmative action

ive got sociology too for the politics im just goin 2 try and focus on facism and liberalism as they seem more streamlined than the other 2.

not sure how risky that is though

hello x ahhh wishing tommorow wont ever come :frown:

can anyone remember which one they missed out in the june exam?
or advise if its a safe bet to just cram up only on feminism (pretty simple,know abit from sociology)
and anarchism?

please can anyone help me in any way PLEASE!-im litrally desperate.(if your into getting rep ill rep you everyday for a month haa!)
but im not at college this year & i was 3 marks off a B in politics last year,and i can only rely on google searches for help with this exam because i dont have any notes/revision stuff.I also cant remember what the questions were last year particulary the feminist and anarchist ones and i think im just gonna have to take a stab in the darkk litrally haha,and just pray one thing comes up atleast

I've taken my A last year for granted and as a result I am woefully under prepared.

I found the first half of the paper awful.. I cried 3 times in that first half.
However, I'm hoping the 45 mark question balances it all out, because I remembered all the differences and similarities between modern and classical liberalism..
Hopefully it will be good enough so I can just focus on Unit 4 in the summer..

socailism and the inevitability of gradualism.

what other 15 marks came up?
and what were the 45 marks?

eurgh, not nice 45 mark ones. i probably couldn't do any of those. the 15 mark ones look okay though :smile:

Thought the actual exam was ok, horrible start though, we've learnt ideologies and were given the political ideas paper, apparently the college just put down paper 3 on our exam entries, and Edexcel assumed it was route A rather than querying it. Don't suppose anyone else had this?

I hated that paper. It didn't help that my Politics teacher made me cry + throw up the evening before, and I was still pretty upset about it.

I doubt for any of my exams I've sat this season will be more than a C grade.

****...no, thankfully. Our exams office IS pretty rubbish but thankfully they've at least pulled their socks up (in regard to A2s at least!)

We almost had a power outage during the exam though...*******.
