Depends what sort of thing you want from your university, they are all good for engineering and chem eng, so if you give some more details as to what sort of place you want or things you like perhaps I can help.
Ofcourse I may be slightly biased towards birmingham, but I did have loughborough as my insurance and know a fair amount about nottingham as a university but not exact details of the course.
So if you have a more detailed question I'll be able to help.
