PPE (The Mathematical Side)

Does anyone on here study PPE?

If so, within the Economics units, is the maths challenging?
Would A Level maths be required in order to succeed?

Thank you
Depends on the uni, but in general, yes.

A-Level Mathematics - although not formally stated - is practically a requirement for a realistic prospective PPE applicant.

Oxford has designed a workbook specifically for people who haven't done A-Level maths but who are doing PPE, so obviously they admit those who haven't, and expect to continue doing so. It couldn't hurt though.

A level maths isn't necessary but an aptitude an interest of mathematics in an applied form is. Once again this does depend on both the university and modular selection.

just on that point by the way i didn't study A level maths and took economics as a major and never scored less then a first. I was sensible with my module selection but i personally found the maths part the best bit because it was an easy way to pick up high marks if you were prepared to put in the work to understand it.
