I have tried searching for any other thread like this and cant find one, so please correct me if i'm wrong...

Hope everyone's prep is going well for the exam. Please post any queries you have down below about the exam-if you are struggling with any questions etc. We haven't got very long before the exam (about 2 full days), so ask quick!

Best of luck to everyone with their prep and in the exam.

*Exam details-9am on 13th June. 1hr 30 mins, with calculator.

*Quick syllabus overview:
1-Functions: Domain and range of a function, Inverse functions, transformations, Modulus and two new functions (e and ln)

2-Trigonometry-Inverse and reciprocal trig functions, Two new trig identities, Addition and double angle formulae, expressions as Rsin (x-a) or Rcos (x-a)

3-Calculus-Differentiation of e and ln, The chain, product and quotient rules, derivatives in terms of y, connected rates of change, integration of e and 1/x, Intergration with a linear substitution, Volumes of Revolution

4-Numerical maths-Locating roots, Approximate solutions, The Simpsons Rule.

*The formula booklet will give the formula for the addition trig identities (not double angle identities, but they can be worked out a bit easier), Simpsons rule, the quotient rule. You might also be able to use the formula they give under logarithms and exponentials. (NOTE:This is the OCR formula booklet, List MF1, for AS and A level maths.)
