Missed A* by 4 marks, worth remark?

I did edexcel A Levels in chemistry and got an A.

In AS I got 291/300

for A2 I didnt put my effort as much as I had in AS.
So basically I was not expecting much, but to see I have missed my A* by 4 marks, worth putting my papers for remark and trying my luck or just leave it?

I'm 77 marks above the lower grade boundry so the risk of grade going down is low I suppose.

what do you think?

My unit marks

Chem 4 110/120
chem 5 98/120
chem 6 alternative to practical 54/60 (this was my first paper and I thought I had messed it up and thought I have lost my chance of A*, which demotivated me not to study hard for chem 4 and 5 which were after about 20 days.

what were your marks?
Im in the same situation as you ,i dont know which module to remark tho
Well if you believe you didn't put as much effort in, it's not like missing an A* should be too much of a shock. You may have just had a lenient marker and were therefore lucky to get marks as high as you did.

That said, it may be worth going for it if you're stewing over it. Like you said, the chances of dropping a whole grade are very slim. Just depends if you're happy to spend, and potentially waste, the money on a remark to be honest.
