ENGLISH AQA - Working out grade boundarys and what grades i need in a2 to get an A!

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can help me work out what grade or how many points i need to get in my A2 exam to be able to get an A. I'm doing English Lanuage and Literature B AQA

In the AS exam: 88 which is a B (is it a high B or a low B? :s-smilie: )
In the AS coursework: 67 which is an A

In the A2 coursework: 64 which is full marks! (whooo)

that gives me 219 over all, does anyone know how many more points i need to get an A overall? So how many points will i need in my exam and what grade that is?

I would be very gratefull for any help you can give me
Thank you! x

The A2 coursework is actually 80 because the rest are in UMS
The 4 unit A level UMS grade boundaries are fixed at:

U - 159>
E - 160-199
D - 200-239
C - 240-279
B - 280-319
A - 320+

So if you've got 235 UMS so far (88+67+80), you need 85 more UMS marks to achieve an A.

In the June 2011 series, the A2 exam awared 85 marks to a B grade answer - which would, in raw marks (i.e. on the actual paper) be about 61 out of the possible 96. So, to be clear, you need to get a B in your A2 exam to secure an A grade overall.
