easiest paper ever, that means high grade boundaries
100UMS - 75
90UMS - 69
80UMS - 63
etc

very very easy, finished after 35 minutes and think i've got 74/75 at least.
what did everyone else think?

piss off.

I just want to hug everyone else who had to sit this damn exam.

Just remember: the papers might get harder, but the candidature - on the whole - doesn't get smarter. In a just world, the rawmark - UMS conversion will be very generous.

Don't fret about it mate it wasn't worth much.... neither were the other 8 questions I answered wrong.

hahahah this made me laugh out loud :'). Sorry to hear that though D:

Damn, I'm never going to get into Cambridge now with such a low A* FML

What do you need? Average of 95 UMS?

Oh crap, for some reason I didn't integrate by parts! Hopefully the 2nd part you can still get marks on using your integration

Same! Do you know how much was the vectors question?
Original post by annaridgway95
On the last question I used integration by parts but completely forget (somehow) it said pi/4 and used 1/4 instead :frown: if my answers are write apart from that would I lose a lot of marks?

Posted from TSR Mobile

I somehow did the same. Was devastated when people started speaking about pi in the last question and I didn't have a clue what they were on about. I reckon we could lose like 7/10 marks which would be a nightmare.

Can anyone else have an educated guess on how many we would lose?

Luckily I don't have any resits, so 5 for me.
Maths: M2 D2 FP2
Physics unit 5
Music written paper

Can't wait to get them over with

interesting how a quick look through your post history reveals that either

A) you didn't sit this exam
or B) you lied about having to resit Core 4

Interesting. I wouldn't normally be a dick and point something like this out, but if this is true, you came in to panic a whole bunch of people who've just sat an exam that they found difficult, so you deserve all you get.

yea thats true, my opinion is VERY low, I just dont see the A* being in the 60's for this paper

Yeah I agree. I think the collective opinion is that this paper was atleast as hard as January- if not harder. I'd be suprised to see 60 or above for the A*. Hoping for it to be 58 I guess.

Oh :frown: I got 0.6,something,something,600 but it didn't match the calculator value so I'm screwed. :frown:

It's not supposed to match the calculator value!!! It's an approximation, and they want it to 6dp so they know you worked it out correctly and didn't just write out the value from looking at the calculator. The value you get should be close to the calculator value but not identical.

Coordinates of D was 5 marks and coordinates of E was 4 marks, plus the easy stuff at the start.

did anyone else run out of time? I never usually do but on this one, I looked up at the clock and it said I had half an hour left and I hadn't even attempted the last 2/3 questions :frown:

Binomial was 12964/19683=0.658639.
(2/7)^(1/3)=0.658634.
