I'm just rereading the books and I'm at book 3 where Harry is in Snape's office after Malfoy saw him in Hogsmeade.
And Harry said to Snape that Dumbleore told him his dad saved Snape.

Did Dumbledore tell Harry in an earlier part of the book or was it in book 1/2?

I think he was told in book 3... however you might wanna make a thread about it in the forum, we don't ACTUALLY talk about HP here, just roleplay.. or in Aeana's case... take out our inner devil and poke people with the trident.
