http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-24286784

The EU is demanding member states pay an extra £3.4 billion so that it can pay for project in sturggling EU regions this is on top of the almost £7 billion they got on the budget increase the UK opposed and were outvoted on (shock- all the poor countries that get back billions more than they pay in voted against a freeze). Should the UK have to pay even more? what can they do to stop paying?
Everybody is is making cut backs, yet the EU feels that they don't need to?
To be brutally honest, **** Greece? :dontknow:

good to see most are outraged as this bleeding dry of the uk once again, I would love to know what europhiles make of it, how they justify it and if they have a solution they can see the EU actually ever adopting to get spending under control and get their accounts signed for the first time in 20 years

I'd sooner see the £3.4 billion squandered on welfare than Europe.

Okay, I'll rephrase, I'd sooner see £3.4 billion squandered on welfare than hand another penny to Europe.
