Aqa english literature help needed! An inspector calls and of mice and men

Hey everyone,

So the gcse exams are coming up, and i need some help with the English literature paper. We're doing Of Mice and Men and An Inspector Calls, but i need some help:

1) What does each section want (how should I be answering them)?

2) How should I be timing each question?

3) where and when do I use the Assessment objectives (AO1, AO2, AO4)

4) are there any generalised quotes and analysis that i can use for any sort of question?

Sorry but I can't personally help you with 1,2 and 3, but I think that your specification should have advice for all of these-look it up.
As for generalised quotes, you should really be looking at quotes for specific themes/characters etc. that may come up. Obviously some of these will link to more than one area, and therefore have a higher chance of coming up, but there isn't a sort of "set" paragraph for any question-just read it and look for relevant parts.
